Founded in 1986 by Philips W. Upham, II, our retail golf history began as an Edwin Watts Golf, LLC Franchise location. Then, in 2010, we rebranded as golfology but retained our staff, time-tested service model and way of doing business.
Our initial store in Hanover, MA has grown from a cramped 1,100 square feet to over 9,500 square feet with two extensive warehouses and complete in-house purchasing, accounting, shipping, receiving, and distribution departments. Since, additional stores have been added to serve the New England market. Since 1991, our stores have been the winner of the most coveted recognition award:

At golfology, we are committed to delivering all of what you have come to expect and experience from shopping with us since being founded in 1986. golfology is run by the same people ("golfologists") and owner you’re accustom to dealing with however, as golfology, our new company has no present affiliation with Edwin Watts Golf, although we continue to be very proud of our history and successful past affiliation.
